Claudia is the CEO and owner/operator of Rewarding Career Services. She guides the company’s primary mission to “bring out” the employment qualifications and goals of individuals in achievement-based resumes which will uniquely market them, set them apart from other candidates, and land them interviews which lead to rewarding and satisfying careers. 

 

Claudia earned a Masters of Management degree with a specialization in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix (Arizona). She also holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration degree from Thomas Edison State College (New Jersey), and a Global Career Development Facilitator Certification (GCDF) from Midlands Technical College in SC.

 

At the age of 19, Claudia wrote and typed her first resume (her very own) which landed her a job at a renowned insurance company in Manhattan, New York. The HR manager was impressed because Claudia had not made it to the job fair but had the courage to write and submit her resume anyway. Buttressed by a stellar record of acknowledgments of her superb writing skills throughout her school years (primary school through college), she decided to use her God-given talent to help friends and family to achieve interviews and improve their careers.

 

Soon it became evident that the resumes she wrote resulted in rave reviews and interviews coming from the Human Resources professionals and the hiring managers who reviewed them. For the past 30 years, Claudia has continued to pave the way to interviews and career satisfaction for individuals of all levels using proven marketing strategies. She is sought after by jobseekers not only in South Carolina, but all over the world.

 

Claudia has held management positions with corporate giants in New York, New Jersey, and South Carolina, and has conducted several interviews in the role of hiring manager. She has also worked as an Adjunct Professor with the University of Phoenix where she was qualified to teach career and communication capstone courses.

 

 As a published writer, she is the author of Career Wonders and Blunders: If I Knew Then, What I Know Now and Interview Wonders and Blunders: What Not To Do, If You Want To Get Hired. She also has written an e-book, Resume Wonders and Blunders: How To Knock Out the Competition and Get Your Resume Selected.  

 

Claudia provides professional career services to hundreds of satisfied customers regardless of geographic location. She serves as a consultant and resource to writers of career-related articles in local newspapers and on the Internet. She has appeared on Live at 5 on Columbia’s WLTX News 19 with Darci Strickland and Andrea Mock. She also holds resume workshops upon request for specialized groups at local college campuses and at churches. 

 

Claudia continues to engage in professional development training and activities to keep abreast of evolving strategies in the career services industry.
